Dear Readers,

What a whirlwind 48 hours!  I cannot believe, after months of planning and thinking, worrying and excitement, our wedding has come to pass. I  simply cannot begin to tell you how much this experience has touched Theo and me. From the ways in which we bonded over planning our special night, to waiting in line at City Hall to get our license, to the actual wedding itself, neither of us have ever felt such an outpouring of love and support.  I now truly understand why a wedding means so much to the couple.  The commitment may have been made long before, but the wedding is a chance to share your love with the ones you both love, and who love you, as individuals, and as a couple.

I want to take a moment and say thank you to all of you from the bottom of my heart. Your kind tweets, texts, Facebook notes and emails, the hard work and kindness of our vendors and the amazing love, support and generosity of our beloved guests helped to make this one of the most beautiful experiences of our lives. 

Mainly, I want to thank my new husband, Theo, for being such an incredible partner and for agreeing to share his life with me.  I feel truly, truly blessed, humbled, and deeply grateful.

As if all of this was not more than enough, Theo and I awoke to a scenario reminiscent of Christmas morning when we walked into a room full of gorgeous cards and generous gifts! We didn’t know which to open first, and truly loved all of the beautiful notes, which we will cherish forever.
