Dear Readers:
First, I would like to congratulate Mr. LeBron James and his beautiful wife, Savannah, who honored me with the privilege of being a part, however small, in their big day this weekend.
The bride was absolutely stunning and the intensity of the love between them was felt in every element of the wedding. I found myself thinking about my own wedding and the excitement I felt seeing my beloved husband, Theo, standing there before me, surrounded by our loved ones as we made our own commitment to be there for and support one another for the rest of our lives. As a designer, it is my job to make the dreams of my clients come true as best as I can, but it is in those quiet and beautiful exchanges in which we all get a glimpse of the joy and love between a couple that we are reminded of just how special our job is. The work we do, the effort we put in serves as the backdrop for one of the most tender moments on the timeline of two lives and a life together.
