“You can have anything you want in life if you dress for it.” -Edith Head
Dear Readers:
If any of you have done a web search today, you may have caught a glimpse of Google’s tribute to the iconic (and Academy Award-Winning) costume designer, Edith Head.
Born 116 years ago today, the iconic designer dressed the who’s-who of Hollywood’s Golden Age–Audrey Hepburn, Bette Davis, Olivia De Havilland, Gloria Swanson, Barbara Stanwyck, Grace Kelly, and Elizabeth Taylor (to name a few!).
A lover of fashion, movies (and of course, design) I thought it might be nice to share some of Ms. Head’s sketches on today’s blog. Which one do you like best?
Blessings,
Preston
