Dear Readers,

I hope all of you have enjoyed your week and are preparing for a weekend full of laughter, inspiration, and perhaps even a touch of glamour (it is Oscar weekend, after all).

After much motion in preparation and celebration of my wedding, I am now back into work mode with only the needs and desires of my clients in my mind.  I have always found that making the transition from one job to another (even when that job was your own wedding) is to take a walk in nature and connect with the designs of the universe. Over the years, I have made no secret of my love for flowers, but lesser known is my passion for the magnificence of trees.

The stature, strength, and patience of a tree have always been somewhat majestic to me, and I am always left in awe of the regal ways in which they stand, the delicate ways they sway, and the generous ways they shade so many of us. Very recently, I came across the wonderful wood instillation designed by artist, Henrique Olivera, and was very touched by the way he honored the beauty and power of trees and their roots.  I wanted to share a few photos with you.
