Dear Readers:
Since April is known for its warm showers, I thought it would be a great time to show you a few wet-weather instillations that I have come across over the past couple of years. The most unique? Rain Room, a “rain shower” instillation set up to allow visitors to feel the moisture and hear the sounds created by the rain while remaining dry. The interactive designers at rAndom International and the Barbican displayed the room in The Curve Gallery in London.
As someone who loves the sights, sounds, and smells designed by Mother Nature, I was particularly taken with this concept. What are your thoughts about these instillations? Which one is your favorite? Lastly, what is your favorite thing about a rain shower?
May you be showered in blessings,
Preston
