I am a big flower lover who is planning my wedding this upcoming spring and I would love to use your services. That being said, I have a couple of questions. Firstly, I noticed that you love to use a lot of flowers and I was wondering as to what happens to those flowers after the event? Secondly, would you consider using silk flowers for my wedding? I would love to keep them after my big day.

It would be my great honor to do your wedding and I will get back to you ASAP. Your question is such a great one that I wanted to share it with my readers.
Yes, you are correct in saying that I love to use a lot of flowers. I think it shows a great sense of visual generosity. It is important to keep in mind that most of the fresh flowers we use are opened to the fullest the day of the event, meaning that they will most likely last no more than a couple of days at most. Here are my suggestions for flowers post-event:
I. Make baskets to bring to a local nursing home. The smiles and gratitude on the faces of these folks is priceless.
II. As is showcased in the photo above, we recently gave leftover flowers to local folks either to enjoy themselves or resell. They were so happy that it made us happy.
III. You’d be surprised by how many of your guests would love to take some of the flowers home. We always make sure to have the proper wrapping on-hand for guests.
As far as using silk flowers, I only have one rule: If your guests can touch the flowers, such as the ones used on your dining table, they need to be real. If they cannot touch them, such as the ones used in my hanging structural ceiling designs, they can be silk.
What I can do is take the silk flowers that I use on your ceiling and make new arrangements for your home. As for tables, I refuse to use them. I am so sorry and hope that that works for you.
